Punjab Minister for Jails Chaudhry Abdul Waheed Arain has said that Independence Day celebrations have commenced with great enthusiasm in South Punjab. The PML-N leaders, workers and citizens have planned comprehensive programmes to mark the event of national importance. He stated this while addressing a flag hoisting ceremony held here on Sunday.
The Minister said that programmes had been chalked out at ward, mohallah, village, union council, tehsil and divisional level to celebrate Independence Day in a befitting manner.
