Parachanar sit-ins continue for sixth day

The tribesmen continued to stage sit-ins at different places for the sixth consecutive day in support of their demands. The agitating tribesmen are demanding that the political administration be changed, 36 arrested tribesmen be released and order to expel the Khateeb of main Jamia Masjid, Allama Muhammad Nawaz, from the Agency be withdrawn. The tribal elders have also approached concerned army officials in this regard.
Kurram Agency political administration said that efforts were afoot to persuade the protesting tribesmen to end their sit-in through Jirga.
