The inaugural meeting of the Special Parliamentary Committee on Election Reforms will be held on Wednesday here to elect its chairperson. The Speaker National Assembly has constituted the committee following motions unanimously adopted by the National Assembly and the Senate on June 19 and 30, respectively to introduce reforms in the electoral process to make them transparent and fair.
The Committee comprises 33 members including 22 MNAs and 11 Senators. All parties sitting in the Parliament are being represented in the Committee according to their numbers in the Parliament.-PR
