Member of District Bar Association Multan on Wednesday staged a demonstration at Chowk Kutchehry and burnt the Israeli flag to express their anger of Israeli aggression. The demo was led by Sher Zaman Qureshi President of DBA and Mehr Haseeb Qadar General Secretary, Sheikh Faheem and Mehmood Khan. The participants shouted slogans against Israel, OIC, UNO, Human Rights Commission and other international organisations who were tight-lipped on the killing of innocent children, women and bombardment on schools.
The lawyers welcomed the resignation of Sayeeda Warsi, a British Minister as a protest accusing Prime Minister David Cameron's government of taking a "morally indefensible" approach to the Israeli war on Gaza. Later, a protest meeting was also held in the bar room where senior lawyers spoke against the United States and Israel.
