A petition has been filed before the Lahore High Court against illegal impounding of motorbikes by police, ostensibly to stop youth from participating in Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf's Azadi March. The petitioner, vice president PTI lawyers wing, Jawad Mobeen advocate said right of free movement was the fundamental right of every citizen but the police on the instruction of Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif had launched crackdown against motorcyclists and had impounded 25,000 bikes of PTI workers.
