Pakistan values high its relations with Romania: National Assembly Speaker

Speaker National Assembly Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Pakistan values high its relations with Romania since both the countries have the same views and perceptions about global issues. Talking to Ambassador of Romania Emilian Ion, who called on him here on Thursday, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq said Pakistan understands the rising importance of Romania as a significant European country. It has strong bilateral relations with Romania in economic, educational, political and cultural fields and wants these relations stronger.
The Speaker said both the countries can enhance parliamentary co-operation besides co-operation in economic and social sectors through greater exchange of delegations. He said bilateral relations between both the Parliaments would be strengthened by exchanges of Parliamentary delegations.
Emilian Ion said Romania also values its relations with Pakistan and wants to strengthen them through co-operation in diverse sectors. He appreciated Pakistan's economic performance and underlined the need for closer co-operation in economic and trade sectors between the two countries. He underlined the need for frequent exchanges of Parliamentary delegations for promotion of greater co-operation between the two countries.-PR
