The European Union this week granted export licences for 532,000 tonnes of soft wheat, taking the total since the beginning of the 2014/2015 season on July 1 to 1.8 million tonnes, official data showed on Thursday. The EU also granted this week licences to export 131,000 tonnes of barley, bringing the total so far this season to 1.0 million tonnes. In imports, the EU awarded licences for 490,000 tonnes of maize, taking the volume so far this season to 1.6 million, the data showed.
