On Friday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange (PMEX) value traded was recorded at PKR 2.481 billion as compared to PKR 2.171 billion registered on Thursday, up by 14.28 percent. Number of lots traded was 11,137 and PMEX Commodity Index closed at 3,009. Major business was contributed by crude oil amounting to PKR 1.250 billion- up 38 percent, followed by gold amounting to PKR 1.130 billion and silver at PKR 100 million, up 71 percent.
