City police on Saturday claimed to have arrested around 46 alleged criminals in different targeted raids and encounters conducted at various parts of metropolis on Saturday. Police sources said that they conducted 76 raids and four encounters as a part of Karachi operation led to the arrest of 46 criminals who were allegedly involved in various criminal activities.
During the operation, 14 criminals were arrested under Arms Act, 13 under Narcotics Act, 12 absconders, one dacoit, one murderer, and some five others involved in criminal activities were also arrested. Police further said that they have recovered 19 hand guns, one hand grenade, 1805 gram hashish, and 189 gram heroin from the possession of the criminals.
