Sindh United Party (SUP) Chief Jalal Mahmood Shah on Sunday supported Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) agenda for political reforms in the country but refused to be part of Imran Khan-led 'Azadi March' on Islamabad. Talking to PPI at Hyder Manzil, Shah said that his party had always supported voices for free and fair elections in the country but unfortunately every election after 1970 was rigged.
A system like India should be introduced in Pakistan where election commission should be empowered to take any decision whether changes in bureaucracy and administrative set-up in order to ensure free and fair elections, he said.
Shah supported Imran Khan's demand for recounting in certain constituencies and said Khan had rightly raised voice against rigging in elections. "We also think that 2013 elections were massively rigged but staging protests and toppling a government.
