The Inspector General of Police (IGP) Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Nasir Khan Durrani suspended DSP Bannu Sardad Khan; closed him to Central Police Office Peshawar and ordered departmental inquiry against him. As per details, the IGP received various complaints against DSP Bannu Sardad Khan that he has allegedly close association with culprits.
The Police Chief checked these complaints against the said DSP through senior police officers of Bannu Region who in their initial reports termed it correct and based on facts. The IGP, in light of the report of Bannu Region police officers, suspended DSP Bannu, closed him to CPO and ordered departmental inquiry against him.
