The credit of this initiative goes to ABAD chairman MohsinShaikhani. He went to Dubai and the US to convince international groups to participate in the event. Shaikhani also met with World Bank officials for supporting the expo that will run from August 12 to 14.
The expo will help ABAD gain international recognition. Speaking of recognition, the construction industry has been officially recognised as industry but practically it is not considered an industry although it generates the highest number of jobs among all other industries. Construction sector is the biggest employer after the agriculture. The exhibition will act as a forum to introduce our builders and development industry at international level and create more awareness about it in the country. Moreover, the expo will further improve the image of country.
