Pakistan military claimed on Thursday that army arrested a gang of terrorists who was responsible for burning the Ziarat Residency (Balochistan). In a twit, Director General ISPR, Major-General Asim Bajwa stated, "Terrorists' gang, which burnt Ziarat Residency has been busted, and its members arrested. No to escape of culprits, space for terrorists: Resilience unmatched."
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif along with Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif inaugurated the Residency which has been partially renovated. Chief Minister Balochistan and other government officials were also present at the occasion. The Residency was attacked with rockets last year on June 15. It has been restored at a cost of Rs150 million.
