At least two people were killed, one injured in separate incidents of violence here on Saturday. According to police and rescue sources, Subhan, 35, was shot and killed while Asif son of Asghar was shot and injured while offering resistance during an alleged robbery incident near Saba Cinema located in New Karachi.
The body and injured person were moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities and treatment respectively. Meanwhile, a body of a woman was found from a house located in Khada Market, Lyari. The identity of the deceased was yet to be ascertained. However rescue sources claimed to have shifted it to Civil Hospital (CH) for post-mortem examination.
