No Muslim name in best research journals lamentable: PU VC

Punjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Mujahid Kamran has said that almost no Muslim name found in the best research journals of the world which is lamentable. He said this while addressing faculty orientation programme organised at Institute of Administrative Sciences here on Tuesday. PU Dean Faculty of Economics and Management Sciences Professor Dr Ehsan Malik, Director IAS Professor Dr Nasira Jabeen and recently appointed lecturers and research officers were present on the occasion.
VC advised the teachers to enhance reading habits in order to master their subjects. He said that the most important thing is commitment of teachers to their subjects and they should work hard to prepare good lectures. Dr Ehsan Malik said that teachers should be committed to their subjects and should work for their conscious. Dr Nasira Jabeen said that PU is the first university which launched regular training programmes for capacity building of teachers. She thanked PU VC for providing all-out support in this regard.
