Prices moved both ways on the wholesale grain market on Saturday in the process of modest trading, dealers said. On the cereals side, Moong Punjab lost Rs 375 to Rs 8375, Guwar Sindh and Punjab, however, managed to gain Rs 500 to Rs 6100 and Rs 6200, they said.
On the grams side, yellow peas Russia picked up Rs 100 to Rs 4200, yellow peas Dall Russia, however, fell by Rs 50 to Rs 4550, they added. On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh old registered at Rs 3650 and Irri-6 Sindh new quoted at Rs 3625, other items maintained overnight levels, they said. On the seeds side, Til small drifted lower by Rs 100 to 6400, cottonseeds oilcake with bag Sindh new low type managed to hold overnight level at Rs 1200 and good variety was down by Rs 25 to Rs 1225, they said.
