Pakistan Muslim League (PML-Q) President and Senator Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain had a meeting with Pakistan Awami Tehrik (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and assured him that PML-Q is with his Inqilab March right from the first day. "We are allies and would move together in future also". During the meeting PML-Q leaders, MNA Tariq Bashir Cheema, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin Khan, Ahmad Yar Hiraj and Dr Azeemuddin Lakhvi were also present.
It may be added that Qadri has given 48 hours to the government to resign otherwise he would start his revolution and lay down his own life to achieve his objectives. Talking to newsmen after the meeting, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain said that Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan on Monday in his address disclosed that Asif Ali Zardari and Chaudhry Parvez Elahi had told him that the Returning Officers had committed all rigging in the elections.
He said former Additional Secretary Election Commission Afzal Khan as a witness has proved that former Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry had appointed the Returning Officers by taking over powers of the Election Commission so that he could maintain control over the whole election. PML-Q Central Secretary Information Senator Kamil Ali Agha while speaking on a private TV channel demanded registration of an FIR of the Model Town tragedy against the persons nominated by the PAT leaders in their application. He warned that the ongoing political crisis will not end without registration of the FIR.
Awami Muslim League leader Sheikh Rashid Ahmad said that PTI chairman Imran Khan and PAT Chairman Allama Tahirul Qadri hold regular consultations over political situation and have complete understanding about each other's point of view.
