KP Chief Minister Pervez Khattak has strictly forbidden PTI workers from holding protest meetings and rallies in response to the protest rallies of PML-N in any city of the province, saying it will heighten political confrontation in the province. He was talking to various to PTI office bearers from different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and delegations in Islamabad, who sought permission for taking out rallies in response to PML-N and other opposition parties.
However, Pervez Khattak clarified that it is not a democratic and political mean and rather a path towards confrontation, which is against the manifesto of PTI. He said that they considered the whole nation and workers of other political parties as part and parcel of the nation. He said that the lives of these people are dear to them even more than their own. He said they did not want clash in any part of the country including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that Azadi March is for the achievement of their constitutional and democratic rights, saying the peaceful reaching of the thousands of PTI workers into red zones, parliament and PM House has proved that they are well organized political party of the world.
He said that PTI chief Imran Khan has given them the first lesson that they are not gathered in Azadi March for their personnel interest rather for a greater national cause and due to our sincerity we will remain triumphant soon. He said the leadership of other political parties should also understand that they hand stood like a rock in front of cruel ruler, which had come into power through a rigged poll.
He said that through standing with the support of electoral rigging neither can become successful rulers nor resolve the problems of the poor as except rigging and corruption no good expectations could be made from such government. He said that such rulers take all decisions under pressure and securing personal interest.
The chief minister said that better and honourable way-out from the prevailing situation is tendering resignation in a very peaceful and good manner to elect a such kind of government in the country through fair and transparent polls, which could take independent and good decisions.
