KARACHI: Federal Secretary Ismail Qureshi has been released by the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) on Saturday. He has been ordered to cooperate in the NAB investigation. Qureshi is going back to Lahore after being released.
A team of NAB apprehended Qureshi from Lahore and took him to Islamabad on Friday.
According to reports, NAB opened various cases on directions of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.
Others among the detained in Islamabad are former director of OGDC Adnan Khwaja and former DG of Intelligence Bureau (IB) Ahmed Riaz Sheikh.
Sources said that NAB issued notice to another federal secretary Ahsan Raja.
The NAB team is headed by Major Tehseen.
