HBL, Pakistan's largest bank, has recently signed an agreement with Farid's Supermarket and Pharmacy in Karachi to offer a co-branded Loyalty Card to HBL Debit Card holders. Under the arrangement, the retailer will issue the HBL/Farid's loyalty card free of cost to the customers who shop at Farid's. The loyalty card initially has two features; double reward points on HBL Debit Card usage at Farid's and discount of up to 12 percent on Qatar Airways.
Speaking at the occasion, Faiq Sadiq, Head of Payment Services at HBL said, "HBL is pleased to join hands with Farid's to offer the first co-branded loyalty card. As an organisation, we always strive to satisfy our customers' needs with innovative products in which loyalty cards is one of the many initiatives we have taken. This loyalty card will enable HBL Debit Card users to earn reward points and capitalize on benefits such as discounts and gift items at Farid's. We are committed towards providing superior offering and greater life style experience to our customers." Adnan Hamid, Chief Operating Officer, Agha's Pvt Ltd said: "I believe that the introduction of Farid's and HBL loyalty card will open new avenues of co branding in Pakistan's retail front.
