Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf president Javed Hashmi on Friday played down reports of differences with the party leadership, saying that he has returned from sit-in due to a personal reason. Talking to media persons after arrival in Multan, he said there are no differences with the party leadership, however, whatever happened was not good. Earlier, it was speculated that Hashmi may be unhappy with the PTI chief Imran Khan for agreeing over army's mediation in the political issue.
Imran Khan and Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri, who have led anti-government protests, met Army Chief General Raheel Sharif late on Thursday after saying they had agreed to his role as "mediator and guarantor" in talks with the prime minister.
