Awami Muslim League (AML) head Sheikh Rashid said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif could be dismissed under Articles 62, 63 of the Constitution. His remarks came minutes after ISPR confirmed that army chief was asked by government to play a facilitative role for the resolution of current impasse in yesterday's meeting at PM House.
In an interview, Sheikh Rashid said that there was no need for Prime Minister Sharif to give his statement on the floor of house. Criticising the role of Opposition leader Khursheed Shah, he said. "Nawaz Sharif has failed to recognise the difference between his enemy and friend. There was nothing wrong in asking army to end the political impasse," he stated.
