Lahore Development Authority (LDA) carried transfers and postings on Tuesday. According to a LDA's spokesperson, LDA Director General Ahad Khan Cheema ordered transfer and postings of three Deputy Directors. Mehfooz-ul-Haq, working in Directorate of Katchi Abadies, is transferred and posted in Directorate of Estate Management-I. Nazir Ahmed Bhatti, awaiting posting in Administration Directorate, is posted in Directorate of Katchi Abadies. Sayed Yawar Abbas, awaiting posting in Administration Directorate, is posted in Directorate of Estate Management (QAT).
Meanwhile, LDA Additional Director General (HQ) Amina Munir granted 46 days' ex-Pakistan leave with full pay to Wajahat Farran, Assistant Director (Accounts), in Directorate of Finance. She is also entrusted with the additional charge of post of Assistant Director (Accounts) to Harron Khan, Senior Accountant, Finance Directorate, during leave period of Wajahat Farran.
LDA imposed major penalty of removal from service upon Bade-uz-Zaman, Assistant Director (Law). He was proceeded against under Punjab Employees Efficiency, Discipline and Accountability Act 2006 on the allegation that in compliance with the court orders of Lahore High Court (dated August 7, 2013) he was required to submit his joining in LDA, which he failed to do and remained absent from duty for more than a year.
