The Rawalpindi Cantonment Board (RCB) in its effort to provide better sanitary environment to the residents will place 150 new trash trolleys at garbage collection points in different localities of the Cantonment. Cantt Executive Officer (CEO) Faheem Zafar Khan has taken this initiative on complaints regarding insufficient trash trolleys by the area residents, PCB sources told APP Tuesday.
The sources said a tender had been floated to acquire specific yellow colour trolleys, having five-foot height, eight feet length and four feet width, in a transparent manner. These trolleys would be placed in different parts of the Cantt area, from where solid waste would be lifted by the RCB vehicles on regular basis, they added.
