Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has made large scale reshuffling in provincial police department and transferred more than two dozen police officers. In accordance with the communiqué issued by provincial government, 25 Assistant Commissioners (ACs), two Deputy Commissioners (DCs) and two additional commissioners have been transferred to other districts and cities.
DC Abbottabad Matiullah Khan has been given the charge of deputy secretary finance. Zulfiqar Ali Shah, DC Mansehra has been given responsibility of Project Director IMU.
Additional Commissioner Malakand, Ikramullah has been transferred to Mardan. The KP Police spokesperson said that the transfers were part of departmental procedure to enhance the performance and capabilities of the police officers.
