On the instructions of Punjab Chief Minister, Punjab Minister for Agriculture Dr Farrukh Javed visited Sahiwal Division during heavy rain to inquire about the health of the persons sustained injuries due to falling of walls and houses. He visited DHQ Hospital Okara and Pakpatan and inquired about the health of injured persons. The Minister directed the hospital administration to provide best treatment facilities to the injured.
Dr Farrukh Javed directed the divisional administration Sahiwal to remain alert in view of the serious threat due to heavy rains and flood. On the occasion, the Minister said Punjab government will not leave the masses alone in this hour of trial. He also directed the district administration to conduct a survey of rain-affected buildings to make up the losses.
