Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif addressing party workers at Lahore Sunday stated that under the command of present chief of army General Raheel Sharif, the force was fighting with zeal and spirit of 1965 against menace of terrorism. Addressing the workers he said army was fighting war of existence of Pakistan in North Waziristan. Chief Minister dilated that entire nation was behind army in war against terrorists.
Shahbaz Sharif stated that they were lucky to have such a level of commander of army as General Raheel Sharif at the current juncture. He said in the presence of present leader of army no conspiracy would succeed against parliament, economic stability and democracy.
Chief Minister applauded the role of army in devastating floods at present in the country. He said they were playing dynamic role in the crisis. A large number of workers of the party were present on the occasion.
