Classes for newly admitted students of intermediate 1st year at Lahore College for Women University, (LCWU) Lahore will start from Monday (today). A separate intermediate college has been set up in the university where F.Sc. (Pre-Medical), F.Sc (Pre-Engineering), I.C.S (Physics, statistics & Economics group) I.Com and General Science are being offered.
The principal Intermediate College LCWU, Mahrukh Bukhari told that students are directed to attend the college in proper uniform and they will provide time table from her office.
Meanwhile submission of admission forms for MS/M.Phil and PhD Programs for the academic year 2014 will start today. Prospectus is available in the campus for 41 BS, 27 MS/ M.Phil and 16 PhD disciplines till 12th September, 2014. Vice Chancellor Dr. Sabiha Mansoor said that LCWU has reserved seats for backward districts and for other provinces as well. Seats also have been allocated for foreign national students, sports, Hafiza Quran and disabled students. The process of BS Hons admissions will be completed after the declaration of FA/ F.Sc results by various boards of Intermediate and Secondary Education. Prospectus for BS level along with admission forms are available in the campus and also are downloaded from LCWU's website (www.lcwu.edu.pk) till 20th September, 2014. The schedule for University test has been announced for all MS, PhD and selected undergraduate disciplines.
