Dawlance continues ‘Ehsaas’ journey with Microwave Oven Cooking Contest for dealers

KARACHI: Dawlance shows a heartfelt gesture towards the dealer community by organizing a series of microwave oven cooking contests for their families judged by Pakistan’s renowned Chef Mehboob. 

Dawlance held a series of cooking competitions for the families of its dealers in Punjab. The first competition took place in Islamabad on 12th October, the second in Gujrat on 14th October and the third in Sargodha on 16th October, 2012. The competition titled ‘Microwave Oven Cooking Competition’ was Dawlance’s way of thanking the dealers’ community for the efforts it has put into making Dawlance the No.1 home appliances brand in Pakistan and to celebrate the strong bonding which has been in place since the company was founded. 

The three decades journey of Dawlance and its dealers has created an inseparable bond and it was this relation which was celebrated through the three ‘Microwave Oven Cooking Competitions’ held under the expertise of Chef Mehboob, Dawlance’s brand ambassador and one of Pakistan’s most famous chefs. Dealers from respective regions were invited to participate in the competitions along with their families for a chance to win exciting prizes and enjoy a fun filled evening. A total of 10 teams per event took part in the competition where they were asked to prepare Roghni naan, Chicken Tikka and Chocolate Cake in Dawlance DW-115 CHz microwave ovens within the given time-limit. Chef Mehboob then went about tasting the dishes, eventually picking out a winner amongst the very talented participants. The 3 winners who emerged from this series of cooking competitions were awarded with gift hampers. However, other contestants were also given a consolation prize for their participation. On the occasion, the senior representatives of Dawlance were Mr. Hassan Jamil, head of sales, and Ms. Naushin Shahid, Dawlance Microwaves category manager.

This competition is just a small way of letting the dealers know how much Dawlance values them.”

The series of Microwave Oven Cooking Competitions concluded on a positive note where dealers and their family members appreciated the event that helped them improve their cooking skills and provided an enjoyable evening for the whole family.
