Ghulam Haider Jamali has been appointed Inspector General (IG) of Sindh Police on Wednesday. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif approved the appointment of Haider Jamali who was serving as the acting IG of Sindh Police before being given the full charge. Jamali became acting IG after the Sindh government decided to surrender the services of former IG Sindh Iqbal Mehmood to the centre. Jamali previously served as the additional IG in the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and had also served as the Mirpurkhas zone Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police.
