Muttahida Qaumi movement (Haqiqi) chief Afaq Ahmed on Thursday said that prevailing political crisis in Pakistan should be resolved through dialogue. In his press conference here, he said that the demands of both the chiefs of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf(PIT) and Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) were legal and constitutional but their techniques were wrong.
He said that Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri were trying to forcibly get resignation from Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif which was wrong practice of them. Afaq Ahmed said that allegations levelled by Imran Khan against PML-N government that it came to power through rigging in general election 2013 were absolutely true.
To a question MQM Haqiqi chief said that peace could be restored in Karachi when the city is made free of weapons adding that Pakistan Army was being dragged in politics which would be harmful to the country. He said that his party was contacting disgruntled members of MQM Altaf Hussain to bring them on one plate forum.
