Commissioner, Malakand Division, Mohammad Afsar Khan has directed the sealing of plazas constructed without parking in Mingora and Saidu Sharif and arresting of their owners. He issued these directives while presiding over a meeting.
Those who attended were included DIG Malakand, Abdullah Khan, Deputy Commissioner, Swat, Mehmood Aslam Wazir, District Police Officer (DPO), Sher Akbar Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner (AAC) Mingora, Hamid Khan, Chief Municipal Officer (CMO), Hayat Ali Shah, Medical Superintendent (MS), Saidu Sharif Hospital, Deputy Director, NHA, Director FHA and heads of other departments.
During the meeting, Commissioner, Malakand Division directed the authorities that all those commercial plazas approved with parking facility in their maps in Saidu Sharif and Mingora and converted into shops for earning rent on them should be sealed and their owners arrested. He also directed ban on scrap vehicles and issued directives for abolition of encroachment and bringing improvement in cleanliness system in the city. The commissioner also directed National Highway Authority (NHA) for immediate construction of Rahimabad Road.
