Two faculty members and scholars of PhD in Zoology Ayaz Hussain Qadri and Tahira Jabeen have been recommended for the award of PhD degrees after they successfully qualified the vice voce.
According to details, the examiners belonging to the University of Punjab Professor Dr Muhammad Naeem and Dr Zafar Iqbal took the oral examination from the scholars of Sindh University Assistant Professor Ayaz Hussain Qadri and Assistant Professor Tahira Jabeen in the office of controller of examination Professor Dr Naeem Tariq Narejo. They declared both the scholars successful in voce vice and recommended the Board of Advanced Studies & Research to award PhD Degrees to them in Zoology. Ayaz Hussain Qadri conducted research on "Kinds of rats in Sindh". He found out the 13 kinds of rats in the province with the help of his research while Tahira Jabeen completed her thesis on "the taxonomic studies of spider".
