Sindh Minister for Prisons, Manzoor Wasan, has said that clouds of uncertainty hovering over the future of the incumbent federal government due to protests of two parties in the Capital have scattered. Talking to media persons outside Sukkur Airport on Saturday, Manzoor Wasan said the Parliament is backing Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and there was no question of his resignation as he was elected for the slot with heavy mandate. He said the incumbent government will complete its five-year term.
He hoped the local government elections in Sindh will be held soon. Commenting over the demands of new administrative units in Sindh, the minister said that division of province is not acceptable at all. MQM chief Altaf Hussain being a Sindhi should avoid issuing such statements, he added. Manzoor Wasan alleged that MQM demands of new provinces and administrative units were aimed at sabotaging Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) public gathering in Karachi by diverting the attention of masses.
