National Forum for Environment and Health (NFEH) will hold 11th Annual Environment Excellence Awards (AEEA 2014) on September 27, in Lahore. This was announced by President Naeem Qureshi in the meeting of NFEH Advisory Committee held at NFEH Office on Saturday. He said these awards have become the benchmark for the standards that need to be followed. The AEEA are designed to recognise and promote the organisations which make an outstanding contribution towards sustainable development.
Governor Punjab Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar will be the chief guest and provincial ministers, secretary environment and representative of United Nations will also participate in the event. On this occasion, a special edition of monthly Energy Update Magazine will highlight the role of award winning organisations through a special report. He said more than 65 companies will be awarded on best performance on environment protection and top 10 companies will announce on event day.
