Provincial Minister for Law and Education Rana Mashhood Ahmed Khan on Tuesday went to the residence of Malik Riaz Alam, Senior Vice-President, PML-N UK, at Gulshan-e-Ravi to condole the death of his mother. Son of the deceased and former Nazim Union Council 91 Lahore, Malik Shahzad Alam and local workers of PML-N were present on the occasion. Rana Mashhood prayed to Allah Almighty to grant courage and strength to the bereaved family.
Talking to media persons on the occasion, Mashhood told that the application from PTI for holding public meeting at Minar-e-Pakistan on September 28 had been received. He said that district administration would decide to give permission or otherwise by considering all necessary matters. He said that political activities were allowed, therefore, they had no objection on the PTI public meeting but construction work was being carried out at Minar-e-Pakistan, which would create problems.
