New Director General of Rangers Sindh Major General Bilal Akbar held separate meetings with Governor Sindh Dr Ishrat-ul-Ebad Khan and Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah in Karachi on Tuesday. The Governor congratulated Akbar on his appointment and expressed optimism that the situation in Karachi would improve.
CM Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah, in his meeting with the new DG Rangers, said the law and order situation had improved by the steps taken by Rangers and Police in the province. "Sindh Government is determined to get rid Karachi of criminals," he added. Major General Bilal Akbar has vowed to continue the ongoing targeted operations in the city till the end of the last criminal.
