Provincial Minister for Zakat and Ushr Malik Nadeem Kamran said the first half-yearly instalment of Rs 124.4 millions has been issued to 44 hospitals of the province for the provision of treatment facilities to the deserving patients and cheques have been handed over to medical superintendents for this purpose.
He was presiding over a review meeting regarding provision of funds for treatment of deserving persons, here today. Secretary Zakat and Ushr Habib-ur-Rehman Gillani, Administrator Zakat Punjab Muhammad Yousaf Butt and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
Malik Nadeem Kamran said 55 thousand deserving patients will benefit from the release of first half-yearly instalment of funds to the hospitals in the province. Giving details he said, Rs 1.7 million and 50 thousand have been given to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital Lahore, Rs 3 million to Services Hospital Lahore, Rs 3.2 million and 50 thousand to General Hospital, Rs 3 million to Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore, Rs 6 milion to Gulab Devi Chest Hospital Lahore, RsOne10.5 millions to Mayo Hospital Lahore, Rs 9 million to Punjab Institute of Cardiology Lahore, Rs 1.2 million and 50 thousand to Fountain House Lahore, Rs 5.2 million and 50 thousand to Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology Lahore, Rs 5 million to Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital Lahore, Rs 3million to Jinnah Hospital Lahore, Rs 1 million to Children Hospital Institute of Child Health Lahore, Rs 1 million to Lady Aitchison Hospital Lahore, Rs 1.1 million and 50 thousand to Lady Wallingdon Hospital Lahore, Rs 2.2 million and 50 thousand to Fatima Memorial General Hospital Shadman Lahore, Rs 8.5 million to Al Shifa Trust Eye Hospital Rawalpindi, Rs 1.5 million to Fauji Foundation Hospital Rawalpindi, Rs 10 million to Armed Forces Institute of Cardiology (AFIC) Rawalpindi, Rs 3.2 million and 50 thousand to Benazir Bhutto Hospital Rawalpindi, Rs 2 million to District Headquarters Hospital Rawalpindi, Rs 3 million for Holy Family Hospital Rawalpindi, Rs 1.2 milions and 50 thousand to Cantonment General Hospital Rawalpindi, Rsseven lakh 50 thousand to Eye Donor Organisation Rawalpindi, Rsfive lakh to Al-Mustafa Trust Medical Center Rawalpindi, Rsfive lakh to Pakistan Thalassemia Welfare Society Hospital Rawalpindi, Rstwo lakh 50 thousand to Dialysis Center (REDO) Rawalpindi, Rs 2.2 million and 50 thousand to Rawalpindi Institute of Cardiology, Rsten lakh to Multan Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Radio Therapy Multan, Rs 5 million to Nishter Hospital Multan, Rs 3 million to Children Hospital Complex Multan, Rs 2.2 million and 50 thousand to Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi Institute of Cardiology Multan, Rs 2 million to District Headquarters Hospital Faisalabad, Rs 3 million to Allied Hospital Faisalabad, Rs 2.2 million and 50 thousand to Faisalabad Institute of Cardiology, Rs 3 million to BV Hospital Bahawalpur, Rs 1.5 million to Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Oncology (BINO) Bahawalpur, Rs 2 million to Sughara Shafi Medical Complex Narowal, Rs 1.5 million to Sheikh Zayed Hospital Rahim Yar Khan, Rs 2 million to Government DHQ Sahiwal, Rs 2 million to Ghurki Trust Teaching Hospital Lahore, Rsseven lakh 50 thousand to Naureen Nishat Welfare Hospital Khanewal, Rsfive lakh to Mughal Eye Hospital (Trust) Johar Town Lahore, Rsfive lakh to Lytton Rehmatullah Benevolent Trust Free Eye Hospital Township and Rs 2 million to (Post Kidney Transplant Medication Center) Sheikh Zayed Hospital Lahore.
