'First half-yearly instalment issued to 44 hospitals'

Provincial Minister for Zakat and Ushr Malik Nadeem Kamran said the first half-yearly instalment of Rs 124.4 millions has been issued to 44 hospitals of the province for the provision of treatment facilities to the deserving patients and cheques have been handed over to medical superintendents for this purpose.
He was presiding over a review meeting regarding provision of funds for treatment of deserving persons, here today. Secretary Zakat and Ushr Habib-ur-Rehman Gillani, Administrator Zakat Punjab Muhammad Yousaf Butt and other concerned officers were present on the occasion.
Malik Nadeem Kamran said 55 thousand deserving patients will benefit from the release of first half-yearly instalment of funds to the hospitals in the province.
