Three people were killed and three others were injured in separate incidents of violence here on Thursday. According to police and rescue sources, Muhammad Qasim, son of Muhammad Mushtaq, was shot and killed by unknown persons in Malir, in the jurisdictions of Shah Latif police station. The body was shifted to the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC).
In another case, a tortured body packed in a gunny bag was recovered from Hub River Road, near the Hamdard University. The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal formalities. The deceased was identified as Mushtaq Soomro, 45, son of Zamai. Another man was killed by unknown assailants near Mauripur Truck Adda. The body was shifted to the civil Hospital (CH) for autopsy. The name of the victim was yet to be identified.
Muhammad Usman, son of Muhammad Aqueel, and Muhammad Zakir, son of Abdul Mannan, were shot and injured by unknown people near 'Mazedar Food' located in Shahrah-e-Noor Jahan area. The incident occurred in the morning. The victims were rushed to ASH for treatment. In the same way, Salman, son of Ayaz, was shot and injured in Baldia Town. He was shifted to ASH for medical assistance.
