Karachi Police on Thursday arrested around 93 alleged criminals in targeted raids and encounters conducted in different areas of the metropolis during last 24 hours. Police said that some 107 raids and five encounters were carried out as part of Karachi operation that led to the arrest of 93 criminals, who were allegedly involved in various criminal activities.
During the operation, police arrested 22 accused under Arms Act. 15 were arrested under Narcotics Act, 14 proclaimed offenders (POs), four robbers/ dacoit, two murderers, and some 36 others involved in criminal activities were also arrested. Police further said that they had recovered 29 hand guns, and 5816 gram of Hashish from the possession of the accused.
