Grams prices fell modestly on the wholesale grain market on Thursday in the process of thin activity, dealers said. On the cereals side, grams Australia No 1 was down by Rs 100 to Rs 5100, grams Australia Dall No 2 shed the same amount to Rs 5600, grams 50x50 dropped Rs 100 to Rs 5200 and grams Dall 50x50 dropped the same amount to Rs 5700, yellow peas Russia was lower by Rs 100 to Rs 4000 and yellow peas Dall Russia fell by Rs 150 to Rs 4400, they said.
On the cereals side, Gur prices fell sharply by Rs 200 to Rs 5800 and Rs 7300, wheat new Bardan depreciated by Rs 125 to Rs 3325, they said. On the seeds side, cottonseeds oilcake with bag low type gained Rs 150 to Rs 1250 and best variety was down by Rs 25 to Rs 1300, they added. Prices were unmoved on the rice sector, they said.
