The government has embarked upon an ambitious programme for improving the IT infrastructure, attracting more investment for this vital sector in Pakistan. According to official sources, establishment of Technology Parks at Islamabad and International Co-ordination Unit are part of the initiatives being launched this year for the purpose. They said the emphasis will be on human resource, IT industry, infrastructure development and strengthening e-governance.
