Mian Iqbal Hassan was elected unopposed president of the Multan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) for 2014-15. According to MCCI, Mian Mahum Alamgir Khan has been elected senior vice president, Mirza Ali Ahmad as vice president while Rabia Shahzad was elected on reserved seat for women entrepreneurs. The final election results would be announced in the MCCI general body meeting to be held on September-30.
Earlier, Ali Rehman, Muhammad Umer Farooq, Abdul Hameed Sheikh, Adnan Ahmad Khan, Malik Waqas Ahmad Awan, Mian Iqbal Hassan and Buksh Elahi were elected unopposed on seven posts of corporate class of the chamber's executive committee. Similarly, Mirza Ahmad Ali, Muhammad Kamil, Muhammad Maher Ali, Aalamgir Jamil Khan and Shahzad Rafiq Mughal were also elected unopposed on five seats of associate class.
