The nine persons arrested in federal Capital on the suspicion of terror offenses have been shifted to undisclosed location for further investigation. Sources said that the nine suspects having links with the banned organisation Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) were detained early Friday morning during a raid at religious seminary located in G-10 by the joint team of secret agencies and police officials.
They said that according to preliminary investigation the suspects belonged to Bajaur Agency and Swat and were planning to target senior military officials and sensitive installations. Meanwhile, security in the Capital has been put on high alert and additional contingents of police were deployed at sensitive places and important buildings.
