Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Dr Tahir ul Qadri on Tuesday threatened rulers to quit this corrupt and cruel system as soon as possible otherwise, the sit-in movement will spread across the board and would be staged in every nook and corner of the country.
Addressing his followers at sit-in that entered 47th day at D-Chowk, Qadri asked the rulers that he has stopped the bloody revolution and threaten them if once he left the sit-in it will convert into bloody revolution. The wave of bloody revolution will sweep away all the corrupt rulers and leaders, he said, warning the rulers to step down before things get out of hand.
He said that he will soon travel across the whole country as well as to every city, town, Tehsil for inqlab (revolution) and stage sit-ins there when time comes. "The world will observe how revolutions take place", he asserted adding the PAT sit-in will turn into a movement that will spread awareness among the whole nation. The PAT chief said that the credit for the awareness of masses regarding their constitutional rights goes to participants of the sit-in who have stayed under open sky for 47 days. Qadri said that farmer community of Punjab province will take to street today (Tuesday) and will stage wheel jam strike against the present government.
Talking about the outcome of Inqlab march, he said that FIR has been registered against a sitting Prime Minister, Chief Minister, three federal minister and other officials for their involvement in killing of innocent people. "Has it ever happened in the history that a case has been registered against sitting prime minister and ministers," he asked the gathering.
The PAT chief said that the sit-ins in Islamabad had given common man a sense of Article 62 and 63 of the Constitution and added he was fighting the battle for common man to make Pakistan a progressive and developed country. Qadri said that the 47 days long sit-in has given courage to the masses to stand up against the oppressors and now people everywhere chant 'Go Nawaz Go' when they observe the corrupt leadership of Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N).
He said serious results will come out once the inqlab march ends in Islamabad. "VIPs are now being thrown out of planes". He said that time will come when bureaucrats will resign from their post and technocrat will take to street and raise voice against this corrupt system. Due to Inqlab march the government has confirmed contract employees who were removed from their jobs.
The PAT chief said that Pakistan People Party (PPP) has planned to stage public rallies to stop their workers from joining other parties. "Opposition leader Khursheed Shah has advised Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to step down on his own and hold mid-term election," Qadri said, questioning why Shah had not made this demand on the floor of Parliament.
