A three-day "Career Orientation Workshop" was organized jointly by The University of Agriculture, Peshawar and IM-Sciences, Peshawar with the help of Higher Education Commission, Islamabad under Pak-USAID Merit & Needs Based Scholarship Program at IM-Sciences, Peshawar.
The workshop has targeted the graduating students and alumni of the two partner universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa; University of Agriculture, Peshawar and IM-Sciences, Peshawar. The Vice Chancellor UAP, Professor Dr Zahoor Ahmed Swati, Director IM-Sciences, Peshawar, Dr Muhammad Mohsin Khan, Director FAD UAP, Professor Dr Zahir Shah, USAID MNBSP representatives and other dignitaries attended the ceremony.
Professor Dr Zahoor Ahmed Swati pointed out that when Pakistan is compared with developed or other developing countries like Sri Lanka, India, Malaysia; we are far behind in education. It has been observed that in the developed nations they are persistent to education and sending more children to higher education. He said that future of this country is in the hands of our young generation who can achieve it through education.
