Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on Saturday criticised Pakistan People's Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari, saying his (Zardari) politics is the product of National Reconciliation Order (NRO). Addressing participants of the sit-in camped outside the Parliament House, Qadri advised Asif Zardari to shut his mouth or else he knows how to seize someone's tongue.
He maintained that Zardari's alleged corruption is not hidden from anyone, adding that he knows everything about the wealth stored in Swiss banks and Sarre Mahal. He said the late Mohtarama Benazir Bhutto got life membership of the 'Minhajul Quran'. Zardari himself told him that the certificate of life membership was hanging on the walls of Bilawal House, Qadri maintained.
He said not only Asif Zardari, but Nawaz Sharif was also a production of NRO, vowing that he would not be part of any NRO. Reacting strongly to Tahirul Qadri's outburst against Asif Ali Zardari, Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Saturday termed the PAT leader a 'cartoon'. Through twitter, he asked his party workers to ignore Qadri's anti-PPP remarks. "That cartoon says one thing one day and completely the opposite thing the next..."
Dr Qadri said the nation was slaughtered with the knife of starvation and ignorance. He said it appeared that the nation was sedated through injection but the PAT protests have "awaken them". The PAT chief said that from now on, the nation will stay awaken while the looters will have to go to sleep for good. He said the oppressed have also been given the good news of the good future because of the 'revolution'. Earlier, Asif Ali Zardari said that all other political parties were production of the Establishment but not the PPP. Senator Babar Awan has also sent sacrificial camel to PAT chief Dr Tahirul Qadri.
