PPP Women's Wing President Faryal Talpur, MNA, has expressed concern over the increasing number of polio cases in Pakistan. In a statement issued here on Sunday, she said "Pakistan needs to focus on the eradication polio and ensure zero tolerance for any negligence in this regard."
This she said while meeting different delegations of party workers a day before Eidul-Azha. She extended Eid felicitations to all Pakistanis particularly the women who she said, were the best hope for country's development.
Talpur said that on this Eid everyone must resolve to unite just for the sake of a prosperous and strong Pakistan. She urged the Pakistani women especially the mothers to step forward and take responsibility of polio eradication from the country by ensuring that every child is protected from this crippling disease.
