Secretary General, ANP, Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that their 850 workers have been killed in terrorism. Talking to media on the occasion of offering fateha over the death of local ANP activist Ashraf Khan at Bama Khel area of Tehsil Matta, district Swat he said that their party is adopting strategy against the targeted killing of the workers of the party.
The ANP stalwart charged Imran Khan for open support to terrorists, saying that PTI had come into power in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with the backing of terrorists. He said that if any one attempt to break the constitution then every province will make its own constitution.
Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that the PTI government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has miserably failed in the restoration of peace and its real face has been unveiled before the people as it have demanded the opening of Taliban office in the province.
He said that neither federal nor the provincial government have whole-heartedly supported the Waziristan operation. He said that both were afraid of terrorists. He said that they wanted peace and had supported military against the terrorists due to which they are being targeted.
He said that those demanding mid-term polls have even failed in honouring of their electoral commitment of holding local bodies' polls within a period of 90 days. He said that the aim of sit-ins is to become the prime minister. He said that those staging long march against drone strikes during their government are why silent today. He said that the regrouping of terrorists could prove very dangerous.
