A US F-15 fighter jet crashed into a field in eastern England on Wednesday after the pilot successfully ejected and escaped with no serious injury. "The plane has come down in an isolated rural area and no premises have been affected," said a spokesman for the US Air Force at their base in Suffolk. "The pilot ejected and is safe," the spokesman said.
